CERTIFIED Instructors

Jake Warren is the Head Certified Instructor at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Brea (Level 4) under Gracie University. He received his Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt directly from Ryron and Rener Gracie in 2021. He was introduced to martial arts at the age of 5, studying Judo and Japanese Ju-Jitsu. After receiving his Black Belt in each art, Jake then went on to study Gracie Jiu-Jitsu starting over as a white belt in the Gracie Combatives (GC) program at the Headquarters (HQ). After receiving his Purple Belt, he then went on to complete the Instructor Certification Program (ICP) in July 2012 and began teaching GC and Master Cycle programs. In 2015, Jake decided to open up his own Certified Training Center (CTC) under Gracie University and established Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Fullerton. As he opened in his new location, he also added a third program, Gracie Bullyproof, to include teaching jiu-jitsu to kids. It was also at this time Jake was promoted by Ryron and Rener Gracie to Brown Belt. To this day, he continues to train under Ryron and Rener Gracie at the HQ in Torrance as he grows and aspires to acquire more knowledge with his Black Belt.

Natalie is a Physical Therapy Assistant and was searching for a martial art that was specific to women's self-defense and found Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. She completed the Women Empowered (WE) program and received her Pink Belt in June 2018. She loved the program so much, she knew she wanted to teach it to as many ladies as she could. In July 2018, she completed the ICP for the WE program at the HQ in Torrance. Jake restarted the WE program at the CTC in Fullerton and Natalie began to assist teaching the brand new WE program 2.0. While teaching, she continued training in the GC program and received her Combatives Belt from Jake in December 2018. Natalie enjoys training and teaching so much, she successfully completed the ICP in July 2019 and received her Blue Belt from Ryron Gracie. She continues to train towards her 4th Stripe in the Master Cycle, is the Head Instructor for the WE 2.0 program and both Gracie Bullyproof programs as a Certified Instructor in Fullerton, all while trying to implement the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu mindset throughout all aspects of her life.
